L’Etape Australia

L’Étape Australia by Le Tour de France is a cycling event run under professional race conditions for amateurs. Closed roads, a challenging route, a Sprint and a King of the Mountain section with riders competing for the famous Yellow, Green, Polka Dot and White Jerseys.

Each December from 2016 onwards, L’Étape Australia will provide the closest experience an amateur rider can get to competing in the Tour de France with fully closed roads in the mountainous landscape of the Snowy Mountains region of New South Wales.

L’Étape Australia will provide a new dimension to the Australian cycle calendar; replicating L’Étape du Tour in format, look and feel and proving a weekend in which riders and supporters can immerse themselves in the heady atmosphere of the Tour de France.

The two routes (the Race and the Ride) ensure L’Étape Australia will satisfy both the most competitive rider and the rider who wishes to participate, albeit competitively and over a challenging route, but not necessarily to push relentlessly for the Yellow jersey.

The social, celebratory and administrative heart of the event will be at L’Étape Australia Village which will be encamped on the banks of Lake Jindabyne.

Bowral Classic

The award-winning Bowral Classic is back for 2019! Are you up for the challenge of riding the ultimate Gran Fondo event?

Following two Australian Event Awards; ‘Best New Event’ and ‘Best Community Event’, as well as being awarded ‘Event of the Year’ at the Australian Magazine Awards, the Bowral Classic will return for its third year to the pristine Southern Highlands.

Bigger and better, the 2019 Bowral Classic will feature new and improved courses centred around Bowral, and some Saturday afternoon events.

Brissie to the Bay

As the sun rises on Sunday 16 June, thousands of riders will be slipping into their lycra and costumes of all sorts to take part in the 28th MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride to fight multiple sclerosis (MS).

You can join the challenge by riding one of our four distances. There is the family friendly 10km around the Brisbane Riverside, the scenic 25km ride to Balmoral, the classic 50km to Wynnum, and the 100km ride to Wellington Point and Cleveland.

The MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride is more than just a fun day out on the bike, it is an opportunity to join the MS community with fellow riders, friends and family, together aiming to raise a sensational $1.3 million to support people living with MS.  MS is the most common incurable chronic neurological condition affecting young adults in Australia, with over 3,700 living with MS in Queensland alone.

For the past 60 years, MS Queensland has provided care and support to those living with MS, and more recently, other chronic, progressive neurological diseases.

Funds raised through the MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride helps ensure no one faces MS alone.

So jump on your wheels of choice; bicycle, tricycle, tandem bike and join us in the Ride to Fight MS.
