If you fancy a weekend of cycling on the super-smooth tarmac of the 4.95km International Circuit (the same one the V8’s use!) with the freedom to go at your own speed, without the interference of traffic, then come and join us – as a soloist or as a member of a team – we will be running a variety of events so there will be one just for you!

As always, our Weekend Festival of Cycling will consist of our three flagship Endurance Cycling Relays – 24 hour, 12 hour and 6 hour – so something for everyone, whether you are riding to compete, fulfil a personal challenge or to ride for charity.  You can enter as a soloist or as a team of 2, 4, 6 or 8. Entries are open to riders aged 18 and above.  Entries for 16/17 year olds will also be considered on an individual basis at the discretion of our Race Director, Stuart O’Grady.

Our 24 hour Challenge is the first and only event in Australasia where you can qualify for RAAM.  

UMCA members can also earn points for the World Series in any of our Endurance Challenges.

Coast to Coast is a legendary ride. South Australia’s cycling community knows it’s special. There’s something about it that makes it a bucket list event.

From 10km to 120km there’s a distance to suit everyone. Whether you ride solo or with your friends and family, you’ll share the road with thousands of like-minded cyclists.

Coast to Coast became a legendary ride for a reason. it’s time for you to relive it again.

Gear Up Girl SA is Adelaide’s biggest bike ride for women with an aim to get more women cycling. There are 3 different rides to suit people of all cycling abilities.  This is the perfect occasion to discover Adelaide by bike in a fun, safe and supported environment with Bike SA and your chance to help us get more bums on bikes. Encourage friends, families and colleagues to gear up and get on their bike. It’s a great way to help spread the cycling bug.

Cancer Voices SA will host our annual CHALLENGE RIDE, following the same routes as in previous years. This challenge ride is FREE.  Show your support for the work we do and  WEAR YELLOW or your Cancer Voices SA jersey.

The ride will commence at  8:00 am at  Kensington Gardens Reserve on your choice from 3 Challenge ride options (67km, 35km, 20km) that loop into the Adelaide hills and return to the start.

Each route features the most spectacular cycling South Australia has on offer and you’ll share the road with thousands of like-minded cyclists.

Family to Challenging

Our Easter Cycle is the ideal long weekend of relaxed fun for family and friends.  From long day-trips chasing the horizon for committed roadies, to little loops for tackers on trainer-wheels – as well as our famous Night Ride – our Easter Cycle has plenty in the programme to keep the entire mob occupied all long-weekend.

There will be rides of varying distances sufficient to challenge roadies and the mountain bikers. Rides have also been planned for those looking for a more leisurely time out on their bikes, and, of course, the younger members of the group including the ever popular Easter Egg Hunt.

Round up the family, get your mates together or just bring yourself along – it’s a great way to meet people and make new friends. You can ride as much or as little as you like – it’s your weekend to enjoy!

The 2019 Annual Tour will take you to the beauty of the Eure Peninsula – setting out to explore and discover its wilderness, landscape and abundant wildlife and, on the way, enjoying the local hospitality.

As we ride around, stopping occasionally to soak up the scenery and indulge in some fresh produce, we’ll get a taste of what the good life can bring, away from the hectic cities. Stunning beaches, wild coastline, National Parks, seals, penguins, sensational seafood, delicious local wines and produce and much more.

With a maximum of 200 riders, you can spend each day with a small group of like minded cyclists and relax each evening in the company of new friends.  If you’ve tried the big rides, come and discover that small IS beautiful.
