Cancer Voices Challenge Ride

Cancer Voices SA will host our annual CHALLENGE RIDE, following the same routes as in previous years. This challenge ride is FREE.  Show your support for the work we do and  WEAR YELLOW or your Cancer Voices SA jersey.

The ride will commence at  8:00 am at  Kensington Gardens Reserve on your choice from 3 Challenge ride options (67km, 35km, 20km) that loop into the Adelaide hills and return to the start.

Women on Wheels – AU

This is the seventeenth Women on Wheels ride conducted by Bicycle Network Tasmania (it was formerly known as Kate Tamayo’s Tour de Femme).  Kate Tamayo was a well respected previous president of Bicycle Tasmania and an enthusiastic campaigner for encouraging women to experience the joy of riding.  Women on Wheels is a relaxed 20km ride around Bellerive and the Clarence Foreshore Trail, a friendly social event for women of all ages.  Note – Girls under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

The route is a mixture of offroad bike paths and quiet roads, and is an excellent opportunity for women who haven’t ridden on the road before to give it a go in a supportive environment.

Le Tour de Norfy Challenge

Le Tour de Norfy Challenge, bought to you by Claremont Rotary and Variety – the Children’s Charity Tasmania, is a very scenic ride past hop fields, historic landmarks and of course takes in the fantastic Derwent River.  Riders can choose a relatively flat course of 38km or 76km, or the quite hilly route of 106km which is considered by cyclists to be a real challenge.  A great event growing in popularity each year with all funds raised going to local community projects.

Pipeline Challenge

The Epic Ride Bringing Mountain Bikers Together for Youth Homelessness

Escape the daily grind and grind some gravel instead! Join us for the 2020 Pipeline Challenge and experience five unforgettable days of mountain biking from the red dirt of Kalgoorlie to the green hills of Mundaring. The ride traces the iconic golden pipeline and offers riders a chance to explore tracks not that can’t be ridden outside of this event. The ride, while challenging, isn’t overly technical. We encourage riders to participate as part of a relay-style team, but there is also the opportunity to conquer the 600km distance solo.

Ride Of Duty

The Gold Coast RIDE OF DUTY…

On Sunday 19th April 2020, we invite the community to ride in remembrance of our ANZACS and to also recognise the 1st Australian Divisional Cycling Company. The courses start and finish at the Burleigh Heads RSL on 6th Ave, Burleigh. The 100km & 50km course takes in both Tallebudgera and Currumbin Valleys before heading down to Kirra and then back through Palm Beach to Burleigh.  At the completion of the ride enjoy a free gunfire breakfast, chat with some of the RSL members and enjoy a coffee.

Coota Bike Festival

The Coota Bike Festival, hosted by the Rotary Club of Cootamundra, is a weekend of bike riding fun, catering for all levels of cyclists. There are plenty of events for cyclists and plenty to look at if you don’t ride.  These events include the Crusin’ Coota ride, Coota Criterium race and the Harden Challenge.

Fruit Loop Ride

The Fruitloop Ride can be as easy or as hard as you would like to make it: a gentle 50kms, a flat 115, with a few Dookie Hills thrown in, or a Kids’ Ride to SPC KidsTown’ a five km ride to KidsTown open to anyone accompanied by a child under twelve!  Something for every rider and all abilities.Funds raised by the Fruitloop Ride go to support Goulburn Valley Hospice Care Service Inc. and Rotary Projects.  Hope to see you there!
