Newcastle to Dungog Charity Bike Ride is brought to you by The Rotary Club of Newcastle Inc. and Dungog Rotary Club.

Help support Hunter Medical Research Institute and the Rotary Club of Newcastle in the region’s most challenging and scenic cycling event. The course passes through beautiful countryside that riders don’t often see, and is a unique event in the Hunter. Think Paris-Roubaix but the country-side is excellent – come and join us!

The Bobbin Head Cycle Classic is an annual cycling event with rides to suit all levels of cyclists. This exciting event is managed by the Rotary Clubs of Ku-ring-gai, St Ives and Turramurra. The route takes in some of the most beautiful scenery on Sydney’s north shore including leafy residential streets, a pristine national park, rolling hills and open countryside.

Sally’s Ride consists of 5 rides of varying lengths starting in Launceston and travelling through the Tamar Valley. Cyclists of all ages and abilities can start off the cycle fest by entering Sally’s Ride 25km, 45km and 80km, while the more serious or professional cyclist can enter the 100km and 140km ride to get a taste of the fantastic roads and scenery.

Lake St Clair Charity Bike Ride

A 2 year project spearheaded by the Rotary club of Singleton and partnering with Singleton Council and the Soft Cogs cycling group. The ride is located in the picturesque Lake St Clair area of the Hunter Valley. 3 ride options caters for everyone, from a leisurely ride in the country side through to a tough climbing challenge for those who strive to push themselves! Market stalls, food and beverages, raffle draws will all be there at the Lake St Clair recreational area making it a great day out for the family. And why not join us for a fundraising dinner that night back in Singleton? The Lake St Clair Charity bike ride will help raise money for local charities and promote the scenic area to our visitors. Loop the Lake is a Charity Fun ride around Lake Macquarie with the Rotary Club of Warners Bay, that is made for various skill levels. Participants travel around 85km – 90km starting from Speers point and looping the Lake Macquarie region and finishing back in Speers Point park.

Craft beer and picturesque cycling routes.

Festival atmosphere, outstanding locally roasted coffee, accompanied by local regional food plus first class musical entertainment. Fast becoming a must do event for cyclists around the country who enjoy a quality beer at the end of a ride.

It’s for charity

All rider registration proceeds go to local charities (distributed by the Wollundary Rotary Club).

Ride options range from 9km – 130km, to suit every level and ability. The Filthy 50 – a 50km ride with some pinchy climbs on rural sealed and unsealed roads, is perfect for intermediate riders on Mountain bikes, Road bikes or Cyclo Cross bikes. For experienced riders, the 105km ride through stunning country scenery could be just the ticket.

Counties Cycle Classic will be held each year just prior to the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge – another Rotary initiative. Our event which runs through some of New Zealand’s richest growing country with spectacular scenery gives cyclists a chance to blow out the cobwebs in preparation for Taupo, or just enjoy a day’s ride in the picturesque Franklin countryside. 3 ride lengths and electric bikes allowed!
